The Cove 8/9/11
The cove is quiet and still.
Waters gently lap the shore.
Sun already risen warms the sky.
Pale blue color shows the day.
Another day has begun….
Birds already risen have flown away.
Street is empty, few cars drive by.
I sit and listen to the world awaken.
