Willow Tree

Willow Tree 4/5/12

Gracefully it stands, swaying in the wind.

It’s branches bend and don’t break.

Scarred is it’s trunk roots.

Gnarled all the limbs aren’t there.

Yet still it grows, and gently moves while we
all stand and stare
